Known for his designs of religious figures and cherubs, a native of the Groeden Valley, he has made a life of modeling and designing. The spirit of his work is embodied in the European folklore. Simple attire and innocent expressions are the characteristics of his work. He has romanced our famous crib in the true ageless European style. The Ulrich Bernardi nativity was introduced in 1962. Since then over 81 figurines have been produced.
