There’s just something about these adorable bears that gets people’s attention. Of course, because they’re part of the Big Sky family, they’re hand carved and hand painted, which allows the unique character of the natural rustic woods to show through.

Each bear has a personality distinctly its own – playful, shy, happy, or just plain cute – and the knots and other subtle “birthmarks” means no two creations are alike. and don’t forget the bear’s buddies – a menagerie of critters to make you smile.

Believe it or not, some bears have birthmarks! That’s what Big Sky calls some of the little knots, cracks, or variances you might find on Big Sky Bears or other animals. But that’s simply because Cabin Carvings are carved from natural, rustic woods- with all the differences that Mother Nature can think up. So, if you receive a Big Sky carving with birthmarks, please remember that a birthmark is what helps make each one a true original. And, after all, just like human folks, nobody’s perfect!
