A Great Day in the Gingerbread Kingdom

As the sparkling sugared snowflakes gently coat the lanes and buildings of the magical Gingerbread Kingdom, the Gingerbread family ventures out for an exciting day of fun at the Festival of Bon Bons.  Their first stop is to watch the changing of the guard at the stately Nutcracker Suite Hotel.  Suddenly, the delightful strains of "We Wish You A Merry Christmas" have the children pulling Mama and Pap toward the whirling dandy carousel.

Next the family continues strolling down the lane and stops to light a candle in the Gingerbread Kingdom Church.  They stay a minute to admire the way the candlelight dances on the sparkling peppermint trim.  Continuing on, they stop for a feast at the candy buffet in the Gingerbread Kingdom Palace.  Little Sister and Big Brother merrily skip up the sweet shimmering path as the tiny spinning doorman welcomes them.  While munching happily on their treats, the kids giggle as they catch a glimpse of their parents waltzing around the famous peppermint balcony.

All too soon it's time to head back to the family's cozy candy cane bungalow.  The cat and dog stand at the door to welcome everyone Home Page as the children slip them each a piece of candy cane ribbon they have stashed in their pockets.
