Resort Just 30 miles from Christmas
Treasures lies Hoodoo Ski Resort this year Hoodoo is celebrating 65 years
of snow recreation and winter sports innovation. From the time in 1938
that Ed Thurston and his ski club companions set out in search of the
ideal mountain to now over six decades later, hundreds of thousands of
skiers and snowboarders have enjoyed the fruits of Ed’s discovery. This
year is one of the most exciting since Ed introduced the double lift chair
to the country in 1947-50. With the completion of our new 60,000 sq. ft.
lodge along with the two newly installed quads, Hoodoo is not only
celebrating a rich history, but this year we are also celebrating our
renaissance.
