Halloween originated from the ancient Celts, who believed that on October 31st, the boundary between the living and
the deceased was dissolved, making it easy for the dead to cause problems for the living. Bones of livestock were sometimes thrown on bonfires,
and masks were worn to placate the spirits of the dead during the ancient Celtic festival known as Samhain, which we now celebrate as Halloween.
