New 2010 Vaillancourt with Glimmer

Introducing our latest Chalkware Grouping with Glimmer-Shimmer and Shine!

Judi was inspired to create this new Chalkware series by the rich metallic colors of traditional glass ornaments from Poland.

We still use artist’s oil paint, however, each piece is first given a base coat of either aluminum or composition gold leaf.

This gives the subsequent layers of paint their unique luminescent quality. The figures are then embellished in fine detail With glass beads and glass glitters. Unlike our regular line these pieces will not be antiqued and will remain bright and shiny.
