Many textile mills were built along rivers to take advantage of the hydropower. Wool would be brought from the farms nearby, spun into yarn, and woven into fine fabrics. The Pembroke Textile Mill is inspired by an area along the Merrimack River near Concord, New Hampshire where the textile industry began. This animated piece has a waterwheel that really turns! Adapter included.
